I am being totally selfish here ...

It looks like the federal government will be heading for a shutdown on March fourth, which means that NIH won't be reviewing grants. Luckily my application is up for review on March third. I won't be getting my pink sheets back anytime soon, but at least my study section won't have to be rescheduled.
